the GPU is working fine on Photoshop but Ai don't want to activate GPU Acceleration.

This error is usually shown when you've run out of fulfillments on your account. I suggest calling enterprise support so they can look into this and verify you still have fulfillments available. You can find contact information for enterprise support by logging into the DPS dashboard and looking at the bottom middle of the page.

No, it is still offered through the CC app. Make sure it's updated, then you should see a list of all the available apps without version numbers. Click Install and the list of versions should appear.

Re: I've just downloaded CS6 standard for windows and do not have an .exe file for installation. I do have a 7z file and an application file I used to extract the 7z files. I'm now at a stand still.

You need to download the File 1[.7z] and File 2[.exe]. Once downloaded, keep both the files in the same folder.
Then run the .exe file and it will extract the CS6 Setup file for you. With which you can install your CS6 software.

Making sure the database is closed isn't always the catch-all answer to data merge error dialogs. I've found at least eight different dialogs that can be associated with data merge errors and they range from these dialogs:
- The selected data source has one or more empty field names. Please fix the file or select another file
- The data source cannot be opened. Confirm that the file exists and that you have rights to open it, then choose the Select Data Source command again.
- There is at least one data placeholder that cannot be found in the data source. Make sure all the placeholders correspond to the fields in the data source.
- The data source file you selected either has no records or is not a supported file format. Please fix the file, select a file that contains records, or select a supported file type.
- Content contains characters which cannot be encoded
- Generic extended parser error
- The data source references one or more missing images. The missing images cannot be previewed or merged. At the time you create a merged document, you can choose to generate a list of all missing images.
- Not well-formed
If a user exported their data from excel to a csv or txt file BUT did not close the file AND then attempted to select a data source, THEN the second dialog would appear.
Also, I can have the database open in the application "textwrangler" on my mac and still select it as a source data file in InDesign's Data Merge. The above error looks specific to Excel, but I'm sure it'll happen with other software.
That said, in answer to the OP's question, I believe the answer may relate to something else, such as having a colon in the middle of a field name. Anyone can reproduce this fault by copying the code below into a text editor and then select it as a data source for a data merge:
name,suburb,post:code John,Adelaide,5000 Craig,Calgary,T9Y 7B3 Max,Sydney,2000
a different error will occur if there are two colons:
name,suburb,pos:t:code John,Adelaide,5000 Craig,Calgary,T9Y 7B3 Max,Sydney,2000
remove the colons and it works:
name,suburb,postcode John,Adelaide,5000 Craig,Calgary,T9Y 7B3 Max,Sydney,2000
interestingly, if the colons are at the start, end (or both) of a field name, then it will work too:
name,suburb,:postcode: John,Adelaide,5000 Craig,Calgary,T9Y 7B3 Max,Sydney,2000
But because the OP didn't provide a screenshot of the error, not did the OP write the exact wording of the error down, we won't quite know what happened.

- Which version of PS are you using.
- Make sure your PS is up to date
- Latest version is PS CC 2015.0.1 (for Creative cloud)
- Try resetting the preferences of PS
- To restore preferences quickly using a keyboard shortcut: Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) as you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings.

hi. for the last few days my adobe acrobat reader dc has not been usable. if i click on it or any of my documents i get the following mnessage.
message reads " a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify etc.
No solution is suggeseted by windows.
I have tried re- installing and that is the same.
I have read a previous answer to a similar question suggesting a repair via the help menu. This does not work as windows is constantly seeking for an answer and i am unable to get the cursor to click on help.
i am using windows 10

Hi,
we are about to begin our offical version of our DPS. Should we build it in 2048 x 1536 and than downsize it to 1024 x 768 or do it simply in 1024 x 768 ? The documentation seems to say 1024 x 768 is ok but it is since 2013. Is there something new in 2015 ? Do you have a nice link on the best practices.

Uwe, The spinning wheel thing has happened to me a few times, and today I couldn't access the gear menu. Option 5 at App doesn't open | Progress wheel spins continually seems to fix it.

I think I'm having the same problem. I have saved graphic styles as "User defined graphic styles". Now I made changes to a style, it appeared in the Graphic Styles panel. Now I want to add (or save) it to my "User defined styles". Here's a snapshot
